Phil’s Fortune
A Feature-Length Melodrama

Written by Demian

The Story
Youthful Phil is denied a birthright, and subsequently faces a harsh life. Because of his hard work and moral fiber, he gains financial success, only to be robbed again by his stepmother and conniving relatives. After a 12-year disappearance, his presumed dead father provides an emotional reuniting, and, perhaps, his true fortune.

Set in Washington and Oregon in 1889, the story is an adaptation from a novel by Horatio Alger, Jr.
