ONDINE! … THEDA!

Manfred Humous takes his work home with him — he is a paleontologist — so the house is full of old bones. His wife, Theda, would rather a more middle-class appearance and so decorates, with no bones about it. ONDINE! … THEDA! is an intellectual farce. The one-act, two-scene play spins its tale through surreal telephone conversations and shoe shopping.

Theda explains how Manfred got arrested, as they shop for shoes.
Sharon Huff (Ondine), Linda Keating (Theda Humous), Michael Lewis (shoe salesman)

ONDINE! … THEDA! was written by Californian playwright Yarók (John Greene). The play premiered at the New City Theater’s Director’s Festival in Seattle in 1986.
